Treating Others with Respect
The employee must remember that one needs to give respect in order to be respected back. This is essential to maintain the cohesiveness of the entire team & the organization as well.
Treating others with respect is a very basic and essential competency. Remaining courteous always and treating others with respect is the only way to ensure you get the same treatment genuinely. Communication barriers can break down with respect. On the other hand, they can be erected quite easily as well if disrespect is shown. Disrespect is bad for business. Team work cannot be leveraged in absence of mutual respect. In other words, effective execution and good performance cannot be expected out of employees if they don't value mutual respect as a basic competency.
