Help-items from Manager/organization
As part of the assessment process in the Performance Management System, the appraiser can ask for support and list out help-items in the review and assessment sheet. This is a channel and an opportunity for the appraisee to ask for help which he/she requires in order to deliver on his/her goals.
As a part of the self-assessment piece in the appraisal process is the Help-Items section where in the employee (appraisee) writes down the description of all the execution support that he/she needs in order to be able to perform effectively to achieve his/her goals. These are usually identified by the appraisee him/her self. These can include demand for resources ÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚Â¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œ physical as well as human. It can also include training and exposure to other domains. This aspect pertains to the learning and development. So long as these demands are justified and required, the appraiser must provide all the support which the appraisee has asked for, so to enable his-her pursuit of performance excellence.
